Larry Walker & Sons is a 35-year-old, second-generation, family run business.

Larry Walker and his wife Pat started behind an old gas station on North Main Street in High Point, NC in 1972.

We bought out the gas station in 1980 and then occupied a corner block on North Main Street.

In 1988, we moved to our current location which was designed by Larry Walker.

  • The current location is 15,000 square feet and sits on six acres of land.
  • We have 16 employees.
  • 27 work bays.
  • 2 acres of fenced/lighted storage.
  • 4 “rotary” car lifts.
  • One S-21 “chief “frame machine.
  • 1 VHT Impulse ”chief” frame machine.
  • 1 ”Blackhawk” Power Pro 360L frame machine.
  • We use the “chief” velocity computer measuring system for frame/uni-body repairs and have the “chief” F.A.S.T.. frame anchoring system.
  • We also have four “miller” wire welders.
  • A “pro spot” I4 inverter spot welder.
  • We do four wheel alignments on our “hunter” dsp 600 alignment machine.
  • In our paint shop we utilized PPG global line of paint with the computerized PPG touch-mix mixing system.
  • We have two Global Finishing Solutions expert 2000 drive-thru, climate-controlled paint booths with a Global Finishing Solutions mixing room.
  • One Global Finishing Solutions prep station.
  • We honor all insurance estimates and are a preferred direct repair shop for Nationwide, Montgomery, Liberty Mutual, Lynx Services, Discovery, Erie, Kemper, Travelers, Zurich, and Universal Insurance companies.
  • We are a “I-CAR” Gold Class Shop and an “Assured Performance” Network QUALIFIED shop.
  • We also do work for two local dealers in our area that do not have their own body shops.
  • We are very involved in our community and support our local schools and little league programs.
